Our Core Principles

• No Gameplay Advantage: We will never sell items, perks, or services that provide a gameplay advantage. Our monetization is strictly limited to cosmetic items and non-gameplay perks like priority queue access.
• Accessibility for All: All players, regardless of donation status, have a path to obtain the same cosmetic items through regular gameplay and community participation.
• Supporting the Server: All funds raised are used to cover the significant costs of maintaining high-performance server hardware, ongoing development, and administration.

Hacksaw (HS) Tokens

HS Tokens are our server's virtual currency, used exclusively for crafting cosmetic and aesthetic items.

• Purely Cosmetic: HS Tokens have absolutely no effect on gameplay and cannot be used to acquire weapons, gear, or any item that would provide an advantage.
• Available to Everyone: We ensure all players can earn HS Tokens. They can be obtained in several ways:
  • In-Game Loot: Found by looting cash registers throughout the world.
  • Events & Giveaways: Awarded for winning or participating in server events.
  • Donation Gift: Received as a thank-you gift for voluntary donations to the server.
• No Donator Vendor: All cosmetic crafting is done via the standard in-game crafting bench, accessible to all players. There are no exclusive vendors.

Custom Skins & Ranked ID Cards

We offer a variety of unique, custom-textured cosmetic skins. We have taken special care to ensure these comply with fair play rules.

• No Camouflage Advantage: Any skins that use camouflage patterns or colors are available to ALL players through the standard crafting system without restriction.
• Highly Visible Ranked Skins: Our special "Ranked" skins are deliberately designed with bright, vibrant, and highly visible colors. They offer no tactical or camouflage advantage and are purely for cosmetic distinction.
• How to Obtain Ranked ID Cards: Access to craft these special ranked skins is unlocked by finding a corresponding "Ranked ID Card". These cards are available to the entire community through multiple paths to ensure fairness and accessibility:
  • In-Game: Winning server-wide competitions and events.
  • In-Game: Weekly community giveaways.
  • In-Game: As rare drops during special server events.
  • Donation Perk: Received as a one-time gift when reaching specific cumulative donation tiers. This provides a direct path for those who wish to support the server financially, while free paths remain available for all players.

Third-Party Mod Permissions

All mods and third-party content used on the Hacksaw server are either created by our own team or are used with the explicit, documented permission of the original creators for use in a monetized environment. We are prepared to provide a complete list of permissions upon request.
