Privacy Notice
A plain-language summary of the information Hacksaw uses to operate the community and fulfil support purchases.
1. Information we may use
Hacksaw may use Discord user IDs, Discord usernames, Steam ID64 values, server account records, support-ticket messages, payment references, payment amount and currency, delivery records, token activity, rank-card claims, priority-queue activity, moderation records and technical logs.
2. Why we use it
Information is used to operate the server, link player accounts, deliver digital benefits, provide support, enforce rules, prevent abuse, maintain transaction records and respond to payment disputes.
3. Payment information
Payment providers process the payment itself under their own privacy terms. Hacksaw should not request or store full card numbers, PayPal passwords or online-banking credentials. Staff may retain transaction IDs, confirmation screenshots and payer details shown by the payment provider where needed to match and evidence a transaction.
4. Sharing
Relevant records may be shared with payment providers, professional advisers, hosting or technical providers, Bohemia Interactive or authorities where reasonably necessary to investigate a dispute, comply with rules or meet a legal obligation. Information is not sold for advertising.
5. Retention
Support and transaction records may be retained for as long as reasonably required for fulfilment, accounting, security and dispute handling. Moderation records may be retained to prevent ban evasion and repeated abuse. Records should be deleted or anonymised when they are no longer needed.
6. Security
Access to payment and identity-linking records should be limited to authorised staff. Sensitive information should be stored in access-controlled systems with backups and audit logs.
7. Requests and corrections
Contact staff through a private Discord ticket to ask about incorrect account-linking information or other privacy concerns. Hacksaw may need to retain limited records where required for security, accounting or dispute handling.
